Agha Waqar Ahmed is a mechanical engineer based in Khairpur, Sindh, Pakistan who claims to have built an apparatus that allows water to be used as a source of fuel in cars. The apparatus consists of a "water-kit" that can break water into hydrogen and oxygen molecules through the process of electrolysis. He claims that any car using his kit can run exclusively on water and will yield 40 km of distance on a liter of water. He has also claimed that his technology can power the entire country with water. His claims have been met with skepticism as well as enthusiasm from Pakistani Scientists. His critics have pointed put that in order for the invention to work, it would have violate the second law of thermodynamics Furthermore, there have been several attempts to use water as fuel in cars in the past, all of which have turned out to be futile.
